My hold is that these guys can fetch all the sexual partners they hope for of any persuasion, so they don't marry unless they get bored and want to execute the family/kids thing. There's a aim when the whole modelizer thing starts to look pathetic and having new kids actually makes you seem relatively younger--if you're 60 with a five-year-old, no one's calling you "Grandpa." If he is gay, by the way, he'll still bond a woman, but probably with an understanding--she has the kids, they perform the family thing and a male partner is also around.
