In September Instagram pushed me a announce by Travel Gay, a website listing &#;the best gay bars, nightclubs, saunas, spas, beaches, shops and more, along with interesting journey ideas and fabulous offers&#;. There I saw the undated post (date your articles and posts, people) &#;LGBTQ+ Solo Travel: the Foremost Cities to Visit?&#; by Adam Reid. Being a solo gay traveller, it caught my attention. 

Now, while I&#;m still very much a homosexual, it has been a while since I last travelled solo. My last solo trip was Tel Aviv in Since then, I&#;ve travelled with Danny, Oriol, Steve, Philippe, Nicolas, Thanh, my sister Florence. In I wrote &#;SINGLES DAY | Why everyone should travel alone sometimes&#; and reading it back I experience the cringe but I stand by its content.

Since Ancient Rome, the men of Spain have ‘enjoyed’ one another’s company. Of course there was the homophobic Christian Dark Ages, but the descent of Dictator Francisco Franco gave us the progressive Spain we know today. Same-sex activity became legal in (for a second day, after that whole Fascist moment), and things have continued to progress since then.

Florence is a noun that has always been ahead of its time: here, in Peter Leopold Grand Duke of Tuscany abolished for the first time the death penalty. and later, in ,Leopold II abolished the punishments for homosexuality.
