As the world begins to emerge from a pandemic that gave society a full reset and forced everyone to reconsider and re-prioritize their lives, NYC Pride is acknowledging that struggle and the resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community. Many have focused on exploring their true selves, coming out to the world with vibrant, loving hearts and souls open to the public - no matter how scary, unsure, or vulnerable it might have been. Others continue their journeys of finding a true sense of self and inner peace. The entire community should celebrate each and every person’s story and provide support so everyone can touch happy, healthy, and safe being Unapologetically Us.

As the NYC Pride Parade returns this Sunday, June 29, restaurants and bars across the city are showing their colors—and support—with festive eats, limited-time drinks, and charitable tie-ins. Here’s where to sip, snack, and celebrate:
At BKK New York, the recently opened Thai street food–inspired restaurant in Midtown, Pride is being toasted with the “Lavender Affair,” a cocktail that blends tequila, lavender, raspberry cordial, and soda, topped with a Prosecco-infused gummy bear. The drink, fond of Pride itself, is a celebration of both strength and softness.
