In celebration of Pride month, we compiled a list of the best Fresh lesbian, gay, trans, and queer films you can monitor on Netflix right now. You&#;ll verb Netflix originals (like recent documentaries Circle of Books and A Secret Love) as well as award-winning theatrical releases.

The titles below are sorted from the best LGBTQ films on Netflix and ranked by adjusted Tomatometer score (which takes into account the number of reviewers weighing in, and the number of reviews per film for movies released in a given year). To be included, films had to have a Fresh Tomatometer score (60% or above).

Daniel Craig's latest film, which sees the James Bond star perform a gay noun in s Mexico, has premiered at the London Film Festival.

The actor's final Bond film, No Time To Die, was released in , and fans have been watching with interest to see which roles he would take on after playing

In recent years, the year-old has appeared in the Knives Out whodunit series as Benoit Blanc, an eccentric detective from the American South.

His latest film Queer, which is directed by Call Me By Your Identify film-maker Luca Guadagnino, sees him grab a new direction. But it has divided critics, with several describing it as "incoherent" and others awarding it five stars.

The film received its UK premiere at London's Royal Festival Hall on Thursday, but Craig did not attend as scheduled due to illness.

Director Guadagnino and Craig's co-star Drew Starkey walked the red carpet in his absence.

Pride Month is marked every June, when the lives of the LGBTQ+ people are celebrated, and those within the community reflect on how far they have come–and how much still needs to change.

Hollywood has been notoriously lethargic in telling the stories of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender characters, never mind those of others who distinguish as part of the LGBTQ+ community. Netflix's catalog reflects this, with the streamer's movie collection featuring a lack of films featuring, for example, trans people. One of the few movies about a transgender character on the streamer, for example, is the oft-criticized The Danish Girl, the film from Cats director Tom Hooper, led by cisgender actor Eddie Redmayne.

Despite the Netflix catalog having some notable omissions when it comes to depicting the whole spectrum of queer life, it does contain some excellent films that possess turned LGBTQ+ stories into sublime comedy, activism-stoking tragedy and awareness-raising documentaries.
